Job Details
IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for a Security / Compliance Specialist. This position will be responsible for security compliance, design, planning implementation and support of customer applications.
Tasks:
- Adhering to, compliance with and reporting on, all Federal, State and Industry technical security requirements for customers applications.
- Supporting department staff, working as a liaison between all areas, and the vendor partners.
- Interpreting the frameworks, regulations, laws, policies and GRC tool that must be adhered to.
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid 2 days/week on-site (Monday/Tuesday)
Contract: 1 year
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years Experience with Cyber Security
- 3-5 years Experience with NIST 800-53
- 3-5 years Experience with following the IT technical architecture design methodology/best practices
- 3-5 years Experience with external vendor contact / communication
- 3-5 years Experience with Microsoft SharePoint/Excel
Skills Desired A plus to have:
- Experience/expertise with adherence to Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS), IRS Publication 1075 regulations, and IRS Safeguards Computer Security Evaluation Matrices (SCSEMs)
- Experience with CJIS / CMS / HIPPA security frameworks
- SOC III Knowledge
- Experience with Keylight (by Navex) GRC Tool
Rate depends on experience
